Color variations:
From my experience I think the Tigers take on the
genes from the brook trout and if the brookie is muted
the tiger will be. If the brookie is a flame belly....
So will be the tiger.
I think the tigers take on the color of the brookies from the area. The above tiger and brookie were caught in the same hole.
Colorful brookie and tiger caught from the same hole.

would to have an umbrella for my deck that would fit in the hole i had specially made in my table. I also emailed the same 10 breweries about an umbrella with no responses.
I have a friend that lives in Augsburg and I have placed him on task for a Beer Umbrella for me.
I sent emails to 10 different breweries in southern germany.
Offered to buy beer signs.
NOT a one answered my email.
Yesterday while fishing I noticed this woodpecker on the ground. It was not moving. I went to examine it.
It did not like being awakened.
Look what I would have missed staying home.
I think it means many things to many people.
My interpretation is fishing is much more than fishing.
Some people fish for solitude.
Some people fish for camaraderie
Some fish for the adrenaline rush of the fish on your line...
Others go for the outdoor experience.
It is smelling the outdoors.
It is feeling the wind, rain, and sunshine on your face.
If you fished in an ugly non-interesting environment....
Fishing would not mean the same to you.
"Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after."

Went out this morning with Jeff Mills.
We hit the water at 6:30am and stopped at 12:30pm
We both landed over 20 trout each.
Jeff caught his biggest small stream brown EVER.
Jeff scored a tri-fecta on the second waterway Brown/Bow/Brookie
We fished 2 different waterways.
The majority of the fish to hand were between 14 and 16 inch browns.
My only photo opportunity got off as I reached for the net.
Smallest trout caught was by me. It was approximately 3 inches.
Jeff is from Chicago Area
almost didn't go because the sky was so blue.
My buddy Ted Kirkpatrick called and talked me out
of my cave.
We both had a dozen to hand. Ted lost
2 over 20 inches at shore. Was a good three hours.
