I'm new to fishing and have a few questions about what baits to use on bait casters and spinning rods. When I go fishing I see many people using both lure casters and spinning rods and also see that they each use different types of lures. I asked a guy what bait to use with my bait caster and he said to only use hard baits but when I asked another person they said to use soft plastic baits. I tried to watch YouTube videos on it but I couldn't find a good video and got confused. If anyone could help me I would be grateful
